CLEAR SCOPE, FROM DAY ONE

The details
that matter.

What does the standard price cover?

One business entity, clean opening balances, digital records and ordinary domestic transactions. One posted bank, card, sales, purchase or journal entry counts as one transaction, excluding duplicates. Inventory, processor reconciliation, foreign currency and intercompany activity are separately scoped.

How do payroll and annual tax inclusions work?

Included payroll covers up to two scheduled runs per month. Remittances follow the employer’s CRA remitter type, rather than payroll frequency. Clients fund and make payments unless payment handling is expressly authorized. Annual tax inclusions require a 12-month engagement; prior periods are separately quoted.

Does billing frequency change filing deadlines?

No. GST/HST returns follow the assigned or validly elected reporting period, including nil returns. Monthly filers need 12 filings; add-ons or upgraded scope are required where only 4 are included. Annual filers may need instalments. T1/T2, T4, filing and payment deadlines remain applicable.

What reports and specialist work are included?

Package reports are internal financial reports. Formal compilation, review and audit engagements require an appropriately qualified practitioner and a separate engagement. CRA correspondence support is limited to the package hours and does not cover taxes or penalties or guarantee outcomes.

What are the client’s responsibilities?

Provide complete records and timely approvals; retain supporting invoices and receipts generally for at least six years, longer where required. Client approval and signed T183/T183CORP are obtained where required before transmission; CRA account access requires separate representative authorization. Extra filings, provincial returns and special schedules are scoped at onboarding.
